3. Your student is required to read the Rulebook. There are very specific rules that must be followed for each category as well as ones that are updated each year. No matter how many times you've been in Fine Arts, you need to read the 2026 Rulebook as rules have changed. This can be found at this link here: RULEBOOK 2026 and you will have to verify in registration that you have read the New for 2026 section, the General Rules section, and the rules of each Category you're presenting.
4. NEW this year: if this is your very first time participating in Fine Arts either as a 6th grader or any grade, you get your base cost of your registration ($55) half off as a special gift from our friends at Trinity Bible College, sponsors of our event! At payment, enter in the code NEWBIE26 for this discount. AND, NEW LOCATION! 605Fine Arts 2026 will be hosted by Brandon Valley Assembly of God church.
5. Options: There are a few special options you can participate in during the event that you'll be able to select. Our DEPLOY event from last year was a huge success so we are doing it once again! Friday evening 5:30p we'll all travel (with your youth group) at a local Senior Assisted Living Facility to bless them with our presentations and display our artwork (you'll be in charge of taking your own art from the gallery at Brandon Valley with you to the Senior Facility)! Choose how many of your live presentations you want to present Friday and how many of your art work you want displayed. Secondly, this summer our Fine Arts students recorded backup vocals for a single that recently dropped in 2025. This year, we're getting the opportunity to record as a Choir for a single on a SD Collective Worship album onsite at our event! Sign up to be in the Choir and in a few weeks you will be sent a link to the lyrics and all the details you need to be prepared to record live onsite. In addition, we're inviting you to explore the possibility that God may be calling you into ministry. Ministry has so many aspects of it so we want you to be aware of all the opportunities beyond what you are familiar with by inviting you to a special lunch on Saturday of our event with CALLED. This is a free lunch for those who want to explore what God may be calling you to. Additionally, don't forget we have copies available for pre-order to grab for yourself and your church to proudly display -- the "Fabric" book of our 605Fine Arts art, writing, photography entries published! YOUR work published! Get copies for your mom, your grandparents, Youth Pastor- display some in your youth room. Pre-Order = $15 (onsite will be $20).
6. GROUP Categories are any presentations listed in the Rulebook that you can do with others. Also, Songwriting, Children's Literature, and all video entries are under the GROUP entries per the Rulebook if you choose to do them with your friends, though these three you can also do on your own. Please have your Unique Group Name ready to type in that also matches the exact same name as the rest of those in your Group will type in. What is considered "unique"? NOT using your church name as this will be confusing in our records. For example, DON'T use: "First Assembly of God Worship". Instead do a UNIQUE name such as: "Raise Your Voice First Assembly Worship".
7. Sound Needs must be typed out specifying exactly what accompaniment you will be using each time you incorporate music in a category. Will it be through a phone given to our sound tech? Then you MUST list the EXACT PHONE MODEL NAME AND NUMBER. Example: Google Pixel 10 OR iPhone 14. You must bring your own dongle or ask your youth pastor to bring one to the event. You must list the exact song title and artist's name who performs it. If it's a person accompanying you on an instrument, you must list the exact name of the person and the exact instrument they'll be using.
8. ART, WRITING, PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO CATEGORIES: As these categories are evaluated a week ahead of the Live Festival, they must be turned in at registration deadline: by February 18th. These entries can be hand delivered or snail mailed to LifeChange Church ATTN: Krystle Tufte, 6300 W 41st Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57106. Keep in mind the packaging you use may not be returned to you. YOU MUST DIGITALLY CHECK-IN THESE PIECES BY FILLING OUT THIS FORM AT THE SAME TIME YOU DELIVER YOUR ENTRY. Writing and Video entries must be uploaded to a google drive & shared with SODAKFAF@gmail.com by February 18th as well, per the formats in the Rulebook 2026 for their NFAF delivery instructions too. Ideas for hand delivery: drive to Sioux Falls to drop off at LifeChange, ask your Youth Pastor to deliver it when in SF at Momentum event for pastors in January, ask a trusted friend who's driving to SF to deliver it for you, have a trusted friend bring it to KidCon (Feb 13-16) to give to a trusted friend who's returning to SF. Please contact Krystle Tufte if you run into problems after speaking with your Youth Pastor: SODAKFAF@gmail.com.

9. Finally - Each section in registration allows you 15 minutes to fill out, so please have all your categories and info at hand so you can easily move through each step. By registering you are agreeing that you can be at the entire duration of the 605Fine Arts 2026 event weekend. No presentation times can be requested or changed. Insider Tip: Screenshot this page so if you have questions while registering, you can easily find this info without having to start over :)
